Freetype and wine

Wine by default looks in windows/Fonts on your Wine C: drive. If any TT 
fonts are found there, Wine should automatically use the FreeType direct 
rendering.

For other locations of fonts, look at your ~/.wine/config file at the 
[FontDirs] section.
