External Exception

Hi All

I am trying to install ESB unit convertor for windows under wine on 
FreeBSD 4.9-STABLE. Everytime I try and run the program. it seems to 
work OK (conversions happen) it is just that I am missing the menu's and 
if I even run the mouse across that area, I get the error External 
exception 80000100

Can anyone tell me what this means, and how to fix it ?
