wine problem on freebsd 4.9-STABLE

hey, Im trying to run wine that ive installed from ports to install excel
file viewer from M$. Ive installed the wine-20031212 from ports and       
created a fake windows drive from the winetools also installed from ports       
the install goes fine until a certain point and then it hangs hard.
