how to install an application

Hi,

I just installed wine on my RH9 box.  I was able to run notepad without any problem.  I wanted to install a education game for my son (The Learning Company, StarFlyers).  After the CD was mounted, I typed in
wine /mnt/cdrom/setup.exe.  Then, it popped up the installation screen and then just hang there.  It will be highly appreciated if anyone can help me with this.
