I have Red Hat 9 with latest patches and Nvidia's latest drivers. I installed the latest Wine ROM from winehq.com (wine-20031016-1rh9winehq). It seems that you cannot install DirectX 9 for wine. I have installed Call of Duty but it needs DirectX 9 to run. This is their demo.
