wine in 2.6 kernel

i am using wine-20041212 with redhat9 default kernel which is working 
fine. Now i am trying to do the same thing in MDK10.0, but failed 
somewhere. Is it because of the kernel(2.6.?). I followed all steps in 
the howto.

anybody running Msoffice on wine with kernel 2.6 there? please reply so 
that i can try again with different ways.
