keyboard drivers

Hi all,
  I would liketo know is it possible to port a  keyboard driver written for
Windows to Linux  using wine. The keyboard application could be called using
wine. It's running & is found be working partially in the wordpad
application called using wine Is it possible to make it work in Linux
editors. Do anybody have any idea.
