[Wine]where to add the path for drive x:?

I'm a little surprised no-one has answered yet.
Look in your .wine directory and you should see a dosdevices directory, 
containing links to the devices.
So to map the x drive to /myxdir make a symbolic link 
ln -s /myxdir ~/.wine/dosdevices/x:
