first results from 2004-0309 release

All,

Starting with the Dec release attempts to run the M$Office apps have 
been spotty and poor. Dec did not build without error and Jan and Feb 
had font problems. I am pleased to report preliminary results with the 
March release are great!! It appears to be stable and runs smoothly.

How can I help move this forward. It is a center piece of my work and I 
would like to help.
