I believe that people not on the list have messages sent through a
moderator, slowing post response time. Not sure, though. However,
double posting to the same list seems confusing and counter productive.
Exactly how long did you wait to make sure it went through?

What do these do, exactly? Wine doesn't do some components of Windows,
because it isn't intended to be a full copy of the OS. Furthermore,
IIRC, it's performace is most complete and best in 9x emulation mode(s),
to date.

There is/should be a list of apps tested/reported working under wine
somewhere on www.winehq.org or another Wine site -- and there you could
check. If you can't find anything there, try running it yourself
anyways, (with a recent release, max 1 month old, i.e. the Aug release,
or CVS) and reporting any errors you run into -- you'll be more likely
to get a better answer.

I also just throught that I'd mention that your e-mail contained a
reply-to line to only your e-mail -- which may befuddle some users. It
is standard procedure (or whatever) to send the reply to whomever sent
it, then CC: it to anyone else in the conversation and to the
applicatable mailing list.
