I can search, that isn't an issue. I've been sharing my midi collection with 
it for a few weeks now, and downloads/uploads work great. Can you switch to 
a different desktop? And when you do, WinMX stays on the first and KDE stays 
switched to the second? If you have it on the transfers screen, how much cpu 
does it use?

And, if it is working for you, what can I do to get it to work for me? I 
click on the desktop 2 button in the taskbar at bottom of screen, it 
switches to desktop 2, and immediately switches back. I close WinMX, and the 
desktops work as expected.
