[Wine]wine no version information error

Hi folks,

I've just installed the latest (20050111?) version of wine on my gentoo 
box however, when I run it I get the following error;

wine: /usr/local/lib/libwine.so.1: no version information available 
(required by wine)
wine: relocation error: wine: symbol wine_init_argv0_path, version 
WINE_1.0 not defined in file libwine.so.1 with link time reference


Anyone seen this before?
