Almost, or exactly?

If MSVCRT from WinXP is failing to initialise when Windows version is set
to winxp then this is a very recent regression indeed. I expect what's
actually happened if you get the "DLL failed to init" error is that you're
not actually setting it to winxp, or setting it in the wrong place (easy
mistake to make, wine isn't very easy to configure at the moment)
