Hrm.  IceGetPeerName is a new symbol as of January
( http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xlibs-commit/2005-January/001579.html )
Maybe the prebuilt package expects a newer X than you have.

You might want to try installing it from source.  It's not too hard...
