While trying to install boson net simulator, i get the following error

fixme:ole:_copy_arg Should not use VariantChangeType here. (conversion from
0x4003 -> 0xb) 7ef9ffff
err:ole:marshal_object couldn't get IPSFactory buffer for interface
{9c5ba03f-c36f-458f-94a6-2aebda2ebb64}

{9c5ba03f-c36f-458f-94a6-2aebda2ebb64}, 80040111
fixme:atl:AtlModuleInit SEMI-STUB (0x40eb40 0x40c040 0x400000)

And then an installer error: Unhandled Exception
Error number: 0x80040706
Description: Object Reference Not Set
Setup will now terminate

I get that right after the installer finishes extracting the msi file and
prepares the installation.
Unless i close the console window, the boson splash screen just stays
there...

That is the error i got after installing wine 0.9 i686.rpm
===============================================
Ive tried installing the i386 package instead and this time i got a
different error -

err:msi:ITERATE_DuplicateFiles Failed to copy file L"c:\\Program
Files\\Common Files\\InstallShield\\Driver\\1050\\Intel 32\\IDriver.exe" ->
L"c:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\InstallShield\\Driver\\1050\\Intel 32\\",
last error 80
fixme:msi:ITERATE_DuplicateFiles We should track these duplicate files as
well
fixme:msi:ACTION_HandleStandardAction unhandled standard action

fixme:msi:ACTION_HandleStandardAction unhandled standard action
L"RemoveFolders"
fixme:msi:msi_unimplemented_action_stub InstallServices -> 1 ignored
L"ServiceInstall" table values

and an installer error - error number 1628: failed to complete
installation...

Im not sure which is worse, lol
btw, im using fedora fc4

Thanks in advance,

Karen
