You raise the idea of a FAQ here. I'd simply like to point that a FAQ can be
maintained - and needs to be maintained - regarless of the format you choose
(list or forum, stickies or not). FAQs are not built instantly out of
stickies. I personnally prefer a well written FAQ to stickies (some
newsgroups have awesome FAQs, ex comp.c.lang @ http://c-faq.com/).

Just sharing my opinion :-)
