[Wine] Wine based "Windows desktop"

Let me see if i get the point...

Since there's already a wine fake c:, with a fake windows install, and
there is the possibility of running apps in "unmanaged" mode
(desktop), how hard would it be to create a "windows-like" environment
where wine (windows) apps could be installed and accessed from? this
would actually be something like a fake windows desktop.

what would be the benefits?

personally i think that as it stands now, running windows apps through
wine in the normal user environment (gnome/kde) with the look-and-feel
of the rest of the system, is much more important...
