[Wine] two test systems, same config, one write enabled, one write protected ??

All,

The systems are FC4 with wine 0.9.5 installed. System A wine sees the c: 
drive as write protected. System B wine sees the c: drive as with 
enabled. The mount paths are identical.

How can this be analyzed? How does wine determine is a path is write 
enabled?
