[Wine] Running Palm Desktop 4.14

I'm trying to run Palm Desktop, following James Littett's HOWTO.

Step 1 is "Start Hotsync on WINE. Enable network syncing"

I get
[les at bilbo ~]$ wine "/home/les/.wine/drive_c/Program 
Files/palmOne/HotSync.exe"

If I try HotSyncWizard (to set network sync)

 wine "/home/les/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/palmOne/HotSyncWizard .exe"

Read the Wine Developers Guide on how to set up winedbg or another debugger

Can someone point me to a solution?

Environment - fc4 (2.6.14-1.1656_FC4); wine wine-0.9.5-2.fc4 (via yum);
ie6 works; acrobat 6 works
