Then try this one :

WINEDLLOVERRIDES=iexplore.exe=n wine iexplore

it should load the native iexplore.exe or say "module not found" if no iexplore is here, like this
:

[syl at wine c]$ WINEDLLOVERRIDES=iexplore.exe=n wine iexplore
wine: could not load L"c:\\windows\\system32\\iexplore.exe": Module not found
