[Wine] Wine and hebrew

Hi All,
 
I'm new to wine- and so far it looks like an amazing piece of software.
I wanted to ask: when I run a win32 app using wine, is there any way to
write hebrew characters at teh text reas?
I'm running Ubuntu, and in gnome, there's no problem to type any Hebrew
character anywhere- I just click <left shift>+<left ctrl>, and type the
hebrew text.
However when I try the same on apps run via wine, I only get ",,,,," (many
comas) instead of real Hebrew characters.
Is there any way to fix that?
