[Wine] wine Visual Pinball

I'm trying to get Visual Pinball runing under wine in ubuntu edgy.   wine
VPinball.exe -DEBUG=all

after the program starts the above messages are printed to the terminalbut
when I try to open a table i get a message that says the file is corrupt and
cannot be opened. Additional stuff then printed in the terminal

Also when I run winecfg and click on the audio tab it crashes. I was going
to try some dll overrides but do not know which ones to try.
