[Wine] error on running Advanced Diary v1.3

What version of wine are you using?
Have you looked on bugzilla to see if there is a similar bug and/or filed on yourself?
You can probably 'fix' this by installing MDAC 2.8. An easy way to see if this is the actual problem:

$ sh http://www.kegel.com/wine/winetricks
$ sh winetricks mdac28

Then try to run your program. This isn't a true fix, since it just installs the Microsoft MDAC, but should probably be fixed in wine. Again, look on bugzilla for an already filed bug, or file one yourself.

What I need to know is if I jump through the hoops to be able to 
download that 1) is it likely to fix the problem and 2) what do I do 
with it once it's downloaded, does it just go into the same folder of 
wine that the Advanced Diary program is in?
