[Wine] JACK / WaveInGetPosition: This function is not supported.

Hello, 

I'm running wine-1.1.2 on Ubuntu 8.04.1 with JACKD 0.109.2. 

I'm trying to run TPP, a small application that makes it possible to run Winamp DSP plugins without using Winamp. It takes the input from one sound device, does some processing on it and outputs it to another sound device. 

When i try to run this in Wine (with JACK), i get a popup that says: 


WaveInGetPosition: 
This function is not supported. Use the Capabilities function to determine which functions and messages the driver supports.


Is this a limitation specific to JACK? Is there a way to work around this? 

Or is there maybe another way to use this program in a jack/"virtual audio cables" style of setup (for example, forward output from MPlayer to TPP, and output from TPP to my sound card or even to another program?)

Also, if someone could point me in the right direction on how to add this function to Wine and/or the JACK driver that would be helpful too - i only have very limited experience in C but i can give it a shot..
