[Wine] C&C First Decade Installation Problem

I've been trying to install Command & Conquer First Decade on Ubuntu Hardy 8.04.1, but I'm running into a problem which prevents the installation from completing itself.

I get a permission denied message when I attempt to autorun the CD, but the installer starts fine when I browse in the disc and click setup.exe. Everything seems to go fine until at the end of the installation the installer stops at a file named "Red Alert.icl" and gives an error message titled "Feature transfer error".

This occurs both upon installing the whole First Decade content and just Red Alert. I tried going in the Wine settings and selecting Windows 2000 instead of Windows XP but it had no effect.

I tried this installation with Wine 1.1.2 as well as Wine 1.0 but both give the same result. I'm baffled as the First Decade entry in the AppDB seems to indicate that the installer should work.
