I have Tried to follow procedure as mentioned in following

but the installer crashes in between while configuring install
so I gave up and posted a query in forum.

yes I went through most of them to see if there is any clue,
unfortunately not found any.

Even 2007 also fails in installation.

anyway we have to wait for bug clearance till that time
keep on using m$ XP no alternative. For me I use
very occasionally Autocad and Sketchup and I tried
them for few (almost 15 to 20) friends who showed
willingness to shift to Linux if ACAD and GSU works on it
