Just a little note: if you're going to keep using the same version of Wine, don't uninstall>reinstall the whole of Wine, it has absolutely no effect on if your app (unless you install a different version of Wine, but then you usually don't need to uninstall it first). A "fresh" install usually only means that you remove ~/.wine.
