Six months is not a long time! I suggest that in the meantime you
write to the software authors and request Linux versions of the
software, in fact, of the applications that you have filed bugs for
most do have native Linux implementations:

LinuxDC++ is a Linux port of the Direct Connect client DC++.

Linux does not need Windows antivirus scanners, but you can use Clam
to check Windows executables natively.

Mathematica is available for Linux.

Kvirc is available for Linux.

The Emulator3000 website seems to be down, so I cannot check that for
you at the moment.
