Thanks, yes, I think so, too. 

I think (a) I'll look on the "product recovery cdrom" for the msi file, or, if that fails, (b) I'll try to find someone with a fully functional version and see if I can reconstruct that missing msi file. 

Just did (a), but couldn't find anything.  :( 

Still -- further ideas are welcome!
