maybe someone else on ubuntu could give the demo a try to see if he/she gets the same problem, then we'd know if it's due to the ubuntu package (i'm on fedora 9 with wine compiled from source). If everything fails, i'd suggest to compile wine from source, if that's not too much trouble at least
