It seems strange to me that your host system is i686-pc-linux-gnu and the target is i386-redhat-linux ! Try ./configure --build=i686-pc-linux-gnu and : - if there is always the OpenGL problem, check the target is "i686-pc-linux-gnu" instead of "i386-redhat-linux " - if everything is ok, enjoy ;-)
