Hmm. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8898 suggests that at least one cause of that runtime error 445 is fixed. Could somebody retest with wine-1.0rc4, with sh winetricks vb6run dcom98 and send me logs if it doesn't work yet?
