Interesting.  I've filed this as
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11838

Can you update to 0.9.56, get a log of running with
  WINEDEBUG=+wintab32 wine ...
(keep the run short, just demonstrate the problem quickly),
and attach the log to that bug report?
