The howto at
http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?iVersionId=2720
says you need mfc42, did you install that?
e.g.
  wget http://kegel.com/wine/winetricks
  sh winetricks vcrun6
?

Also, it says that wine after 0.9.42 might hang, have you tried 0.9.42?
