but i dont appear to have the direct3d folder in my registry.  i know the game was supposed to have installed direct x...
so i went to the direct X website to download and install it, but i need to be on a windows machine and pass the genuine test

given that my XP installed blue screen's within the first 2 minutes about 95% percent of the time, what are my options?
