Well, to be more explicit then, substitute every time I said "game support" with "directx" and it's the same point.

I think it is fair to say that directx isn't well supported, yet many games run fine with what has been implemented.  How much of the API really needs to be implemented to support whole classes of video games?  I mean, come on, MS outlook is number 10 and MS word is number 6.  I really don't want to be rude, but you have to ask the question: Are the people who voted for those two applications stupid?  Go download openoffice and thunderbird.  Do they want IE8 to work under wine too?
