I just added "taskset -c 0" to the beginning of the command I use to start SC4. My full command looks like this:

taskset -c 0 env WINEPREFIX="/home/dimesio/sc4" wine 'C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Apps\simcity 4.exe'  -d:opengl -intro:off



I was getting random crashes even without plugins before I added that, now I'm not.
