for starters upgrade your wine. the most recent version is 1.1.5 Check the download section at the winehq.org main page at the left if you havent done already.

if that doesn't solve the program update your graphic card drivers.
You can use envyNG (http://albertomilone.com/nvidia_scripts1.html) to do the job for you if you're using an nvidia or ati based card.
