[Wine] Ventrilo crashing - not sound problem.

I am running Ventrilo client 3.0.4 through WINE 1.1.15 (built in wine git to use WoW stability patch).

Sound works fine, program starts and I can hear everyone and they can hear me. Then at random intervals Ventrilo either stops working (incoming and outgoing sound no longer happens) or crashes to desktop. This can happen at any point with no warning and no error messages in the terminal. 

I have gone through the how to at http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=9832 and made sure my settings match what it says. I run a killall pulseaudio before starting Vent, even though I don't think that is the problem since sound works fine until the crash. 

When I do searches all I find are ways to fix non-working sound in Vent, what do I do to stop the crashing?
