[Wine] Orange Box on WINE (Mac OS X)

I am not one that knows much within Linux.. but i am running Ubuntu 904 in a wubi, within an XP home set up. 
I know that WINE has made a lot of progress or so i am told.. So far i have not been able to get any games or other wise programs to run properly within it. 
I have an advanced issue with one type of request and one that might just be a matter of working with Code Weavers instead of wine. 

Has any one had any luck with a site called Cybertown.com? it has a 3d VRML interface that must be downloaded and installed to run the 3d set up. 
They use IE as the rule.. and a program called Blaxxun Contact. 
I was able to get IE 6 to install on the Linux that i have.. but the install of the Blaxxun Contact.. BC.. was a failure.. because its looking for ACTIVE X and DIRECT X. 
I know very little but i am told that GL can help with that and i wonder "HOW" and if doing some sort of INSTALL of GL support will finally get the BC installed? 
Cybertown is afamily site.. that uses this Blaxxun Contact to show VRML worlds and Objects.. and to turn TEXT into VOICE. 
If any one has any suggestions.. i am open. YOU can also try this Cybertown as a visitor with out paying.. and then see the requirements and download the Blaxun Contact. There is also a development called BS contact.. one even says it works with LINUX.. version . BS 7.2 , but thus far.. i can not get it to install and use the IE6.

the other idea was trying to use a VERY OLD game called Masters of Orion 2 : battle at Antares. 
i can begin the install to play this game.. but after the install suceeds.. and you hit the play button to begin.. the Game screen has no access to the mouse. 
the whole Game seems to be active and there.. but with out Mouse there is no way to play the game. 
ANY One dealt with this Game before?
