[Wine] WoW terrain.mpq and sound.mpq problem

Which part of WoW is being installed when this happens, the original 
WoW, Burning Crusade, or WotLK? This was a fairly common problem with 
the original WoW cds but most people got around it by moving the data 
from all the disks to the hard drive and then running the install from 
there. Make one folder, put the data from each disk inside that, then 
run the installer for disk one. You should be able to right click and 
select to open with 'wine windows program loader' and unless there is 
some other problem to track down it should go through the full install 
without any further input, finding each disk in the folder as it needs it.
