More info. I just played Close Combat II and noticed that double clicking does not work in it either. Fortunately none of the CC2 game controls require double-clicking.

Anyway, both programs are very slow to react to mouse clicks, for example, selecting an item from a list takes almost a second. Slow mouse clicks do not happen on every screen, some screens work just fine and with CC3 some dropdown lists work perfectly fast when clicked while double-clicking does not work at all.
