You might have a bit more luck installing vcrun2005sp1 through winetricks instead, as it does a few things the installer only can't manage to do in Wine (yet).

If that didn't work, run Wine from a terminal and give us the terminal output. Be sure NOT to run from the WoW launcher as problems have been identified with it; run the game directly instead.
