If you define WIN32_LEAN_AND_MEAN, the winsock errors will go away.

The errors happen because some stuff in winsock.h is incompatible with
the stuff on your system (happens to me, too). For now, just define
WIN32_LEAN_AND_MEAN. If you have any other problems, post back here.
