No further messages, no. If anybody would like to investigate, the bug
can be reproduced in a couple of minutes:

(1) Download and run the DVD Flick installer at:
     http://downloads.sourceforge.net/dvdflick/dvdflick_setup_1.3.0.4.exe

(2) At the end of the installation process, run the DVD Flick application.

(3) Click the "Add title" button at the top-right of the window, then
select any video file (AVI, MPG, etc.). A message will pop up saying,
"Please wait... Loading <filename>", at which point the application
     hangs.

any help much appreciated,
Matthew.
