[Wine] Keyboard Issue

If you go into the settings for your linux desktop (not wine but your 
regular desktop) there should be a 'key repeat'. Turn that off and the 
controls in Galaxies will work normally. Yes, that is as backward as it 
sounds!

I'm not sure what distro of linux you use, in Fedora you find the 
setting through the system-> preferences-> keyboard drop down menu and 
it is just a check box.
