Not all display drivers support the method of 3D rendering we use in 3d views. It should work fine on Nvidia and on recent AMD drivers. It might also work fine on recent Intel drivers (intel drivers that were released in the last 3 months or so). It won't work on other drivers at this point or on OSX. If you can upgrade your drivers or try another card.
