[Wine] Regional Setting for Commandos 1

hi,

i bought Commandos 1 from gog.com (http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/commandos_ammo_pack ), which should run fine with wine (rated as platinium http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=160 ). My problem is, that this is the international version, if i start the game i get a error which says that i should use the german version of the game. There i already a solution, change the regional setting to another country: http://www.gog.com/en/forum/commandos/game_will_not_run

winecfg doesn't have a option to do this. Is it possible do change this without changing the whole system, so that only wine apps are affected by the change?
