I tried that before, and it didn't help when i look up my ip, it shows the one i entered at least, but it didn't fix my problem. I noticed though that my entry in the "hosts" file is just the ip address and "yourhost". it doesn't contain "yourhost.yourdomain.com". is that a problem?
