CS:S crashes in similar way for me : the main screen appears. Sometimes
it crashes a few seconds later, but most of the time it crash when I
click somewhere in the menu. The output is like yours.

I made some tests. For me, the last known working version is wine
1.1.34. All versions above are crashing in the same way.

I tried to run regression tests between 1.1.34 and 1.1.35, but the
tests were not conclusive : all versions have worked : I had access to
steam's windows as expected, which seems to be strange.

On the other hand, during these tests the X server often crashed when I
cliked on the 'quit' menu item, but I don't know if it's related to the
original crash, and I do not have time yet to try again...
